I'm obsessed with knitting these hats!
I'm loving the free knitting pattern for the adorable Chunky Chelsea Hat by Christina Lundborg. So much so that I recently knit up several using some of my hand-dyed bulky-weight yarn.
For my first hat, I used our Creme Brulee colorway with a size 10 needle, and topped it with one of the new pompoms I've been making -- the pink fuschia -- I looooove it with the yarn. In fact, I decided to put together a hat knitting kit. You're welcome. ;*)
The yarn itself creates the pattern, so it makes knitting up a quick hat that looks hard...well, easy. We've paired our Creme Brulee bulky-weight yarn with our 6" handmade faux fur pink pompom here for a potentially surprising (but we think cute AF) look.
Buy the hat kit and add a hand painted gift bag (that also doubles as a project bag), and if you need circular or double-point needles for this, we have those, too.
Spoiler: more hat kits are coming.
Things to love:
- Easy, fast, one-skein project
- Our creme brulee yarn self-stripes into a wonderful organic design
- The pattern is free on Ravelry! And we send you a link with the kit so you can dive right in to making.
